Young people’s voices are often been neglected in the decision or policy-making. Therefore, the opportunities of harvesting the large democratic dividend for achieving the sustainable development goals in Bangladesh are shrinking. Literally, Bangladesh is failing to invest its one-third of the young population.
In the policy briefs, gaps between policy and practices have been addressed from the perspectives of involvement and inclusion of the young people in employment opportunities and decent work, gender and youth responsive public services as well as young people’s participation in democratic spaces and decision-making processes. At the same time, key recommendations have been specified through extensive data collection from the young people of all level. Through the policy briefs, we seek to co-convene the messages to every level of the state and facilitate the extensive engagement of the young people for leading progressive movement.
